Swept up in the crazy excitement surrounding the Royal Wedding, New Balance has launched a brand new Facebook page just in time for this week's London Marathon. From Wednesday 13th April, New Balance will scour Britannia for running couples named Will and Kate who will receive the chance to win an extra special pair of commemorative Royal Wedding trainers limited to a mere 10 pairs worldwide! Handmade-to-measure from the most regal velvet suede and silky mesh, each pair comes complete with personalised ‘Will' and ‘Kate' embroidery. Ah, those kooky Brits! Runners will get an early opportunity to register with the Facebook page at the London Marathon Expo, which takes place at the city's ExCel centre from April 13th-16th, immediately prior to the big race on Sunday April 17th. As an added incentive, the first 1,500 visitors to stop by and sign-up at the New Balance stall will also receive an exclusive New Balance goody bag, containing a water bottle and pen.
With an expected 70,000 visitors due to visit ExCel over the course of the four day exhibition, New Balance running ambassadors will also be on hand to offer their help and advice to participants ahead of the big race, with exclusive offers on footwear and apparel, plus a free New Balance holdall with every pair of shoes purchased.
In addition, runners will be able to take advantage of free gait analysis to ensure the best shoe tailored to their run, enabling them to reach their optimum performance.
