Royal Elastics is once again bridging the digital divide with an innovative new media competition that offers participants a cash prize of USD $5000.
“Royal Digital 2007” is inviting entrants from around the globe to create their own, or submit their favourite piece of digital art; i.e. video, animation, or a digital image that creatively displays their interpretation of Beaux Tech (beautiful technology), the inspiration for Royal Elastics 2007 theme.
Be it the exoskeleton of the T1000, a 3D animation or simply the most creative digital photograph, the competition is offering digital artists and enthusiasts alike the opportunity to showcase their talent to the world, accepting any form of digital art.
Royal Digital’s 2007 theme Beaux Tech has been selected for the competition as a celebration of new media and technology that is fast becoming the latest in contemporary art. As such, submissions will be assessed by a panel of industry experts, with the winner announced online on September 30th 2007.
The competition will launch online from 1 August, 2007 with all entries due by 1 September, 2007.
