The winner of the adidas Originals Festival competition is Heath Mulholland of Sydney. His dream festival, STOW, named after an Interpol lyric, ended with an attendance score of 11,234 and featured Interpol, TV on the Radio, The Shins, The Drones, Nada
Surf, Laura, The Panics, Little Red and Midnight Juggernauts. Asked how he managed to create such an intricate poster using the online templates in the game, Heath said “A lot was done pixel by pixel. The poster is a culmination of learning MS paint inside out whilst working boring office jobs and meticulously applying that knowledge using the tools available.”
Heath will be heading straight into German lessons, and will fly to Berlin with a buddy in July to go to the Berlin Festival with VIP treatment courtesy of VICE Germany. He’ll also be coming home with a suitcase full of adidas gear from a shopping trip in the adidas Originals store in Berlin.
