After three and a half years of battles in over 20 countries, Secret Wars has finally landed in Australia. Taking over the intimate NAME THIS BAR in Sydney, Heat #3 of the first series of Secret Wars Australia will take off 1st April 2010 at 8.30pm. Heat #3 is between two of Sydney’s up-and-coming street artists BRIDGE STEHLI vs. HOUL. Hit up the website for more information. Attached is a host of images from many of the Secret Wars meetings that have taken place globally!

PRESS RELEASE
Secret Wars began back in 2006 - it was small, and intimate yet had the potential to be so much more. Years of hard work, dedication and a strong following has meant Secret Wars has pushed the boundaries and raised the bar for artists and promoters alike around the world. Shannon McKinnon, the Australian agent for MONOREX and Secret Wars Australia, felt that the timing was right for Secret Wars to shine down under. With a massive following in England, Europe and with the start of the Secret Wars Euro league, we felt it was a great time to get the ball rolling and Sydney is the place that it’s all happening. Secret Wars showcases the artists and their art in the form of a live battle using simple but dynamic techniques. Artists are encouraged to have fun, think outside the square and use the platform to play off one another. 2009 was a great year for the brand, a number of successful trips, including a week-long tour in New York. With the Euro League in full swing, 2010 is already looking good and it can only get better. This is history in the making, are you ready to be a part of it?
