Firstly, I love sneakers! I've just recently acquired a taste for them. As evidence, I go on sneakerfreaker.com about three times every day, hence the discovery of this essay contest. I like....no, LOVE Jordans because it's a unique brand of shoe, including it's style, which is often copied, but NEVER duplicated, and it is also, named after one of my role models in life, Michael Jeffrey Jordan, the GREATEST NBA Basketball Prodigy that has ever played the game. Like many sneaker heads, all they know is the type of shoe, or the brands or the shoe....but not me. I study the anatomy of the shoe, examining it before I purchase it, and I am proud to say that Jordan's not only has the best comfort, but, the best designs, materials, and they last longer. I'm even doing my science fair project on them next year. You may call it obsessed, but I call it a privilege; walking down the schools hallway with a pair of sneakers that no one has or ever dreamt of.... and even to be signed by Michael Jordan himself is an honor. Some people may pawn them or sell them, others may "wear-them-out", but me, I'd cherish them for the rest of my life, never relinqishing them if I was offered all of the money in the world. God made you for a reason, and just like every reason has an action to it, it's like those shoes were made for me. I may have recently just started to appreciate foot wear, and sophisticated foot wear, like Jordans, but I know quality when I see it, and those shoes greatly surpass quality, and supercede durability. Jordans ARE and WILL BE the TOP in fashionable, durable, high-quality foot wear. Do you know why? Because the best African-American Basketball Player, AND the Best Basketball Player in the Entire History of the League made sure of it....his name is Michael Jeffrey Jordan. God has truly blessed MJ with talent, and I pray that God would also bless me with, first, a portion of his work, the Spiz'ikes signed by his Airness, Michael J. Jordan, and to, one day, match or succeed in at leaast half of his career. Jordans are my life (other than the bible, lol [laugh out loud]),and without them.....I wouldn't rock my fits the way I do now!!!! All thanks to Michael Jordan!!!
