When people say Michael Jordan was the greatest basktball player to ever live they do not just say this because it is the cliche. The man was simply incredible, what he could do on a basketball court was second to none. Six titles and six finals MVP trophies. Going back and watching Michael in his hey days is truly a sight to behold, not just the highlight reels, what you don't see on the highlight reel is the defence and his hard work off the ball. People sometimes forget that Michael also won a defensive player of the year award too.

To me Michael Jordan is the gretest player to have ever put on a pair of playing shoes. And he put on lots of playing shoes - he wore a different pair every game. No body will ever accomplish what Michael did on the court. Sure someone might come close but there was and only ever will be one Michael Jordan.
