Ever since I picked up a basketball, I can remember MJ as the best at the game then and now he's still the best player ever. And the shoe on his feet, a legend on it's own "IT MUST BE THE SHOES" that's when I fell in with the Js.
Passionate,loyalty, obsession, love and lust those are the words to decribe my feeling for my Js.
My first pair of J were the IV white/black/red which I swap from a friend. Than the V came out they were the best shoe I've ever seen. To now my favourite J is the V.
I love Js because of the design,colorway they're just different from any other shoes and the series line, every year I can't wait what the next one looks like. Back then I wore out every pair of Js and now I value my Js. Thanks Gentry Humphey for Retros.
Every pair of J I get the feeling is still the same as if it's my first pair.
The routine is the same for every pair;
-I take it to "my world"(a room for my Js)
-I take a good sniff when I open the box(I love that smell)
-Relace it my way
-Take photo on my phone so I can look at it when I'm not home(I put a different photo every day)
-Sit down look at it for afew hours(design, colorway,compare to other Js).
I built this room for my Js, only my family and close friends has been in it. It's "my world". I made it air tight and no light can get through (Js worst enemy). I love that smell when I open the door. I can spend hours in there, sometimes I wounder when I go out of the room, if things in the real world is still the same because when I'm in "my World" it's just me and my J's.
The final piece of my collection is to have a pair of J signed by his Airness, that's my holy grail.
I would like to thank my wife (Helen) for understanding my passion, my mum for giving money to buy Js when I was young and my bro for going on holiday and look out for different Js and Lachie at Footlocker without them I wouldn't have "MY WORLD.
