Do The Mike Thing

I like Michael Jordan because he is a leader. Michael Jordan inspired me to gain an interest in basketball. I like him because he has determination. When Jordan was a kid, he used to always go to the basketball court with his brothers. People use to always pick on him that he couldn't play good, but he showed them. He was determined to prove to them that he could, so he practiced every day. I also like Jordan because Jordan he is the greatest person in the NBA. I think that Jordan showed everybody really how good he was. Jordan was a team player. He also was good at dunking and making shots. He inspired me to get out there and try dunking and working on my shots to make them every time. There is so many reasons that I like Michael Jordan, but I can't name them all. To me, without Michael Jordan, basketball wouldn't be the way it is now. I like him because Jordan was a prime example to show that you can make it even though you don't make it the first time. When Jordan was cut from the High School team, he didn't give up, he kept practicing until he finally made it. The main reason I like Jordan is because he said that "I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying." He also said that "I can never stop working hard. Each day I feel that I have to improve . Hard Work, Determination...I gotta keep pushing myself." I like these quotes because it says that he never quit and that anyone can excel if they try and try again. I should win these shoes because Jordan is one of my role models. Without Jordan, I probably wouldn't have been as interested as I am now in basketball.
