Keprock, Graffiti Artist Trendsetter, was born in New York, to his Dominican mother and Puerto Rican father. From a young age Keprock showed signs of creativity, winning a scholarship to RISD College (Rhode Island School of Design). At age 10, he began tagging, a form of art executed by graffiti artists. Since then he has been focused on showing that graffiti is a valid art form, and should not be deemed as vandalism: a common misconception made today by people who do not understand what tagging is truly about. However, not all graffiti is done on walls. Keprock chose to take a different approach to the art form by incorporating his unique style into fashion tagging hats, clothing, boots, and sneakers, all designed with Keprock’s custom graff. Keprock’s work has been featured in URB Magazine, Underwire Interactive Magazine, and Vicious Magazine. Through this exposure and his eagerness to make a name for himself in the fashion industry, Keprock has designed exclusive sneakers for the world’s largest artists such as, Grammy Award Winning DJ/Producer “Roger Sanchez” (Stealth); Multi-Platinum DJ/Producer “Eric Morillo” (Subliminal Records); Multi-Platinum Grammy Nominated Producer “Chris Styles” (Dangerous LLC); Multi-Platinum Producer “F.R.E.A.K” (Dangerous LLC/ F Records); Jive Recording Artist “Chris Brown”, “Ciara” and “Lil Mama”; “GTO” singer of #1 Hit Song Turn on the Music (Roger Sanchez); as well as many other prominent DJ’s and Artists within in the music scene. By merging his graffiti art and keen fashion sense Keprock has recently started his own clothing line “Keprock LLC” and is about to launch his 1st Annual Fashion Show in Miami, FL; with performances by “Roger Sanchez, F.R.E.A.K, GTO, Jackie Perkins, DJ Lee Farmer, and DJ Manic. With his desire to give the fashion scene something fresh and innovative, Keprock is building a brand of clothing inspired by his distinctive form of art ,for consumers not only to wear, but enjoy for a lifetime!
