So my uncle used to work for Adidas throughout the 90's. Went over to his house tonight and he had this pair of Equipment Cushions to show me. One of my favourite shoes of all time

I was absolutely shattered that they are 1.5 sizes too small but still such an awesome shoe and so good to hold a pair and see them in person
Also has like 3 of these (sorry about crappy pics, they were up in an attic/storage area)

Was recently in Bali and hit up a couple of the legit Adidas stores over there. In some of the stores the quality was shizenhousen but in others it was really good. Just simple things like on the shelltoes the toe hand't been glued down correctly but on others it was really clean.
Ended up dropping some $$$ on a pair of Stan Smith Lite's and the Star Warz shelltoes. Had to fight with the staff to keep the Star Warz box and all of the inserts.
Well worth having a look if you are heading over anytime soon.

2nd opinion time: do you think an VNDS OG pair of adidas mutombo 1s are still wearable? seller says so but i know if they where nikes from the same era, they'd crumble within a few strides

Mate of mine had some and gave them to a mate who has been wearing them with no problems. There's no air in them and from memory they're pretty basic. Still, it's a judgement call. If they've been worn a bit then you have a better chance.
