I just got my hands on a pair of new balance 580 west NYC alpine edition,which by the way are the hottest pAir of kicks I've ever had,and I want to keep them in good condition so my question is ,is suede protector ok to use on them and would any body have any tips on good cleaning products.im a bit new at the collecting side of being into sneakers,and would really appreciate your help.

I honestly dont worry about suede protectors. If you read the ingredients, they are predominately water based products and we all know that water is no good for suede. It may help you cleaning them once they get dirty but it deteriorates the 'butteryness' of the suede which i hate more. That's my opinion anyway.
