Finishes and Repellants
I'm sure this has been asked several times in the past, but I haven't came across any old threads discussing finishes on Custom Kicks.
So can anyone recommend or share what works for them? What are the better fineshes or coats for Custom Footwear out there, more specific Leather Footwear?

i use krylon matte finish
for weather proofing i would use a silicone based spray

and you say a silicone based spray for weather proofing? I assume you add this after the Matte finish right?

I've used a slicone based spray for weather proofing before, but after it dried when I walked the shoes squeaked... Maybe it was just a cheap one that I got....

Also, i suggest trying to use New Balance waterproof spray, it almost saturates the color of the shoe even more, most sprays kinda dull the shit out of the shoes
