The only ones I can think of around that time with that little triple ripple wave at the front of the sole were the Air Force Max or Air 2Strong, but the swoosh looks wrong for either of those. So yeah, not sure dude. Sorry.

Dunno bout the kicks DN. But well done Firecrakka for starting this thread, about time really with the amount of 'can you identify' threads that are started.

my vague memory says that there used to be a "what shoe is this" thread, but so many people ignored it, that it was unstuck.
btw: you can still buy air 2strongs on shoebakka $120

^ yeah there's been a couple, always needed sticking. This should clean things up a bit!

it's taken 12 days for someone to completely skip over this thread
this is why it was unstuck.

how about whenever someone puts up an ask thread, we only re-direct to this thread.
* also it still seems to be a sticky...?

i haven't unstuck this thread, but the previous "what shoe is this" threads was what i meant.
we sticky a thread, ppl ignore it for months, we unsticky the thread, ppl ask where is the thread, we sticky a thread, ppl ignore it, rinse repeat.
meh, i'm just being grumpy i expect nobody else cares.

no i understand.
we'll unsticky the jordan thread, see what happens

imho, i don't actually think the jordan needs to be stickied, because ppl are updating it so constantly it just stays at the top naturally (kinda like MJ really

Hey Guys'n'Gals,
I am looking to get the these sneakers for my other half, but cannot ID them. I saw a girl in Hong Kong wearing them, and she said that she bought them in Korea. I've spent a few hours trawling the web, but keep coming up with Adidas Original Forum or Decade high tops:
i280 dot photobucket dot com/albums/kk184/crisp82/SAM_1737.jpg
(Sorry about the links. Please just replace the dot with . and it will work. As a new member I cannot post links)
Any ideas?
Thanks,

[Update: So far these appear to be 1986 NIKE DUNK HIGH "BE TRUE" IOWA HAWKEYES (yes?) but I'm still not sure what SPIKE means (a player? Spike Lee? A customized shoe?)
I'm hoping someone on the board could tell me more about these NIKEs...
I'm unable to post an image for some reason, but they are hi-top NIKEs from 1986, bright yellow and black, yellow swoosh, SPIKE written on yellow leather (I think it's leather), made in Rep of Korea... serial no. 860103ST... I have posted pics on the ebay forum for vintage clothing and shoes (my ebay name is MarieK7922) recently, if you want to venture off board.
Thanks in advance if you can help me ID these... I plan on listing them on ebay but wanted to research/find out more first... unfortunately I haven't been able to find a pair like these online... I've seen similar ones w/ color inverted, no SPIKE (they were U of Michigan dunks), but not these.
What's their official name/what line are they from?
What does Spike refer to? (Spike Lee)?
THANKS!

in 2005 Nike released the 'Be True to Your School' series. Which were based on the shoes given to College players in the mid eighties. Chances are the 'Spike' on the leather may be reference to the player they belonged too as I'm fairly sure they weren't a public release but only for college players. In this case it was for players of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Here's the 2005 'Be True to Your School' Iowa dunk...

Yes, they have the same look, only the serial number on my pair suggests 1986.... the labels are old, not new... unless the 2005 versions reproduced the old serial numbers?

Hi All,
I know this shoe was a Nike Air Force shoe it was worn in
1. the 1991/92 NBA season
2. David Robinson wore a black pair throughout the season and at the 1992 NBA All-Star game hi top version
3.John Starks wore 3/4 version of them
4.John Stockton wore white and purple ones during the season hi top version
5. Anthony Mason and Charles Oakley wore black ones hi top version during the playoffs
I have googled and ebayed with not much success and have not been able to post links here they are definitely not the 180's
Can anyone tell me what shoe this was? It had FORCE written on the tongue, they were all leather the black version had the white swoosh visible air bubble very similar to the Air Mach Force. I have been searching for this shoe for months
any help is appreciated
looking for black and white leather ones im only guessing if anyone can find an image id appreciate it
