Looking at getting a Giotto Premium Plus
(pic not mine)
OR
Just get something like the Rancilio Sivia, which will still be able to do a good job, but doesn't have twin boiler and you need to do temperature surfing.
(pic not mine)
There's a bit price differnce between the too.
The most important component of coffee making is the grinder. I'm happy with what I purchased.

Build qualitys ok, but to be honest did'nt think it was too bad on the DQM's either. I'm not really a fan of the hybrid's and these take alittle getting used to. But thought i'd get them now and if i'm still not sure sell them rather than regret getting them later.

Yes, I know coffee is important component, but if you don't get the grind right, the coffee is not going to taste good. I'm sure you know what I meant?

both great machines, to be honest unless you are making coffee for more than 3 or so people all the time then the Rancillo would be more than adequate, they are great machines for the home, my francis francis just broke (my fault for leaving it on and in steam mode all day) and the Rancillo was the machine i was going to get to replace it with, of course there are better options if you want to spend twice the money, but the Silvia has a reputation for being hands down one of the best $ for $ machines.
