Amusing anecdote.

I tried to buy a pair of HTM Lunar Flyknit's on KXC, i offer the guy a price, he AGREES to sell them to me. I ask to pay for them straight away, but he says can you wait a few days before payment? Weird, but ok. Searching couple days later and see them listed on Ebay.fr... was trying to get more money! So sells them on me. Tells me few days later when finally replies, I say "fair enough, but not very good to agree to me, then sell them on the side"... he says "i get more money, and please dont be rude".... what the?

He does the dirty on me, which im cool about, and then says IM rude! For saying "not very good" of him. He's fu*king FRENCH. And IM rude! Just for that! Pot? Kettle? He's a young french teen with african heritage, looks like Richard Ayoade/Steve Urkel with big black rim glasses, and a frizzy black afro(from his twitter page, which he also put the listing on), and has 1 post on KXC, and 0 feedback on Ebay, and HE'S doing the dirty on me... and then telling ME whats what! What a slap in the face! Europeans man.

He got me so mad, i was cool about it even though he did the dirty on me, but then he turns around and says IM RUDE. Being called rude by a FRENCH person... i dont know if theres anything worse than that? How do you come back from that? How do i go on?

to be fair though i'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with his race / being french. just sounds like greed and rudeness on a general level, which you get everywhere.

just sayin.

Re: Nike Running Thread

@lancedior, Thats fair for sure, but i was just having a laugh and playing off the 'stereotype' that the French are all rude and arrogant. Every country has them. We aren't all like that other Simpson episode 'throwing shrimps on the barbie' and whatnot.

Case in point, this was last week trying to get a Black pair, and then straight after that i dealt with another guy from France for a Red pair, and he was a delight. Agreed to a fair price, easy transaction, very pleasant. So there you go, complete opposite.

He actually lined up with the the other guy and told me he was 18 and very 'young'... he's obviously trying to get into the reseller game as he put up another listing for a pair of those Levis Dunks. Just thought it was funny this guy called me rude, because i said that "wasn't very good" of him to agree to sell to me, then put them on Ebay and ask me to wait(while he sees if he can get a better price). Which i even said was fine, its his shoes, but he then didn't even give me a chance to PAY more, because he agreed to my price so i wasn't thinking i had to. So he screwed me out of the only Black pair i've seen on sale. Which is the most annoying. And coincidentally... rude.

What are the flyknits like for the people that have them? And what was $AU RRP?

I've got a volt pair coming on the way.

They are really good IMO. Super comfy especially after a few wears. I got a pair of the orange and the black/white. The AU RRP was $200 for the trainer and the racer was $220. Almost tempted to get the volt as well..
