“I’ve been a photographer living in Manhattan since 1975 shooting urban art and architecture and anything else that catches my eye. I began to see athletic shoes, their laces and the way they were worn as becoming a defining part of urban street culture. I was always attracted to the elegant simplicity of this particular shoe with the curved stripe and leaping PUMA logo on the back.”
