2009 - BEST OF THE BEST SNEAKERS

This year the sneaker that tickled my fancy the most was the Brighton by Macbeth. Yes, I realize how predictable that is, Macbeth being my company and all, but the Brighton is my favorite shoe we have in the line.

The molded EVA insole and mid-sole along with the gel heelpad add so much comfort and stability to the shoe, especially when wearing them on stage. They maintain Macbeth’s signature low profile look, while incorporating comfort technology without the usual bulkiness that typically comes with it. Whenever I slip the shoe on, it feels like a sock, caressing my tender toes, soft and sweet like a gentle lover. I wore this shoe for the entire Summer 2009 Blink 182 reunion tour, and haven’t taken them off since, literally.

The shoe is currently hitting retailer and doing extremely well, there is always something charming and handsome to a low profile 'active' looking shoe. The Brighton is a natural progression in Macbeth’s continued mission to make kick-ass shoes for the rock lifestyle in all of us.
