And when will they be released?

Okay, back to track. The toothpaste NBs where initially planned for April this year to coincide with the European summer, hopefully they are now going to be released end of October. Great for you Aussie guys in time for your summer! We have now been working for nearly a year on these shoes.

We have done about 10 samples to get to the final product. Big thank you goes to the guys from New Balance: Mike, Dan and Richard from the U.K. and of course Michael from Germany! Thanks to their patience we were able to finalize the product. Everything isn’t possible, but this is okay because sometimes you have compromise. But we are in no hurry. We are ready when the product is the way we want to have it. And now it is the way we want to have it.

Would New Balance ever budge and let you put "Designed in Berlin" on the tongue rather than the standard "Made in England"?

No, I don’t think so. New Balance is pretty strict in their rules. But this is good. They are a company who sticks to their word and knows what loyalty means. Pretty oldskool. But hey the company isn’t owned by shareholders! The company is owned by Jim Davis and his wife. Can you imagine that? You ever asked yourself why the NB samples are US9.5 instead US9? It’s because Jim Davis shoe size is US9.5!

NB’s biggest rule is ‘Endorsed by No-one’ The product is the main actor not any celebrity. If the product is good it will spread the word. Similar to Sneaker Freaker and Solebox, yes?
