
Everybody is entitled to work on a shoe, and some of the most unlikely sources can yield a refreshing vision, untainted by internal influences.
But letting just anybody, like your company buyer, loose in the factory is a rookie error - just ‘cos they buy, doesn’t mean they’re qualified to create. Some element of passion, knowledge of what looks good and a sense of symmetry are the only pre-requisites to be let loose with the leathers.
