Lori has taken it one step further, “I’ve seen women camp out for exclusives and then the sneaker doesn’t even come in their size! That is not even fair. Right now she has a petition for exclusives to come in smaller sizes, and with over 1000 signatures and countless heartfelt messages begging for heat in smaller sizes, we KNOW that these extremely limited releases could sell out in smaller sizes!“
Isn’t that the truth! Try spending as much money developing shoes for us, the same as you do for men, and give us some collaborations with females, whether that be artists, female operated brands or shops. The only collaboration I can even recall is the Fafi series for adidas Originals and the Pucci and adidas capsule. Breaking news that Claw Money has signed with Nike is a step in the right direction!
Trust me, if ladies drop $500 for Manolo’s and thousands for Gucci and Louis Vuitton – dropping $300 for sneakers is not an issue. As Erica told me bluntly, “we’re not so concerned with comfort. If the style is right and it goes with the new outfit we’ve just bought, women pay any price” That’s right, any price! Arsen from Kendo has seen the customers in his store do just that. “Women will drop $200-$300 on sneakers, no doubt about it. Women spend three times that on other forms of footwear. Will they wait in line? Maybe. Maybe not. If the sneaker is that hot, then I believe you will see women camping outside or at least their boyfriends will do it for them.”
