Launched in 1987 as a serious multi-sports shoe, the Workout Low Plus was designed to enable athletes to go from the tennis court to the gym to the track in a single pair of Reebok sneakers. The performance credentials were brought to the fore, incorporating a functional (and patented) H-Strap midfoot design for custom fit, ‘terry’ lined inner soles, heel and tow wraps for lateral support, notched back tabs for added flex and DI-Tex 107, which was injected into the midsole for ‘superior cushioning’. And you thought they looked like simple white trainers!
