Sneaker Freaker has been breaking necks since 2002 with their witty deconstruction of the global sneaker scene. Now published in Russian, Spanish and German, the magazine is a global publishing phenomenon direct from the unlikely location of Melbourne, Australia.
Teaming up with Lacoste for a second time, Sneaker Freaker transformed the Cabestan into an inky black boat shoe complete with premium calf leather, ski-hook lace locks, flecked hiking laces and a minty bumper bar. However it's the subtle addition of the ribbed polo collar that really brings the sly humour to the fore. Wear it up like Cantona or keep it on the downlow... either way, it's a subtle embellishment of a contemporary staple. We bet you never noticed!
