D.I.Y McFLY HANDMADE SNEAKERS

You recently put your entire collection up for sale on eBay. Was you inbox full from prospective buyers?
Yes that’s right. I did get loads of emails and some great offers but then would you sell your lovely pet? I would be a broken man after selling them all…

So you’re not selling them off, you’re such a tease! But never fear, we hear that you are going to be opening a store at the end of the year. Is this true?
Yes that’s true, I’m going to open a sneaker store soon around the beginning 2009. I’m going to follow my heart and open a special sneaker store, something I should’ve done along time ago. It’s not only a job for me, it’s a passion. I have very good connections to Reebok and I can’t wait to work with them.

Will it solely stock your collection?
No, my dream is to sell sneakers all around the world, from the regular sneaker to the harder to find. I will not sell any of my collection but there will be a little museum in my shop, to show the people what kind of sneaker freak I am. I hope to meet sneaker freaks around the world with my store. That’s my dream.

Do you have any last words to all those prospective sneaker collectors out there? Advice on how to store such a killer collection?
Take care of your collection and enjoy each pair of sneaker you own and collect everything you like. Thank you to you guys from Sneaker Freaker magazine, keep up the good work and show the world more crazy sneakers and collectors.
