ACG FEATURE - PART TWO

“I also designed a shoe that we called the Escape II, which was really an evolution from the first version of the Escape but if you look at the design lines, it’s definitely a little bit reminiscent of the Mowabb.

This was a lower priced shoe, a little more conventional, still lightweight, still able to do a lot of things in the outdoors and we sold boat loads of these. Sometimes, even as a crazy designer, I still feel like I should try and make some money for the company so I will design products where we tone down some of the details, make them a little less controversial, a little more wearable for the average person and that’s an example of that. It came in a mid-cut as well as a low-cut.”
