I do. I think that even Nike makes so much stuff that they can’t push all of it, regardless of how interesting it is. Everyone’s more or less sick of retro but we’re all set in our ways. This is the conundrum of it all.
Yeah. It definitely is a conundrum. I can remember the Air Max 97 being a pretty big deal at the time, even though it was brand new technology. Does the current generation of kids feel the same way about the 360? I don’t know. I think that the lack of emphasis on retro product back then made it a little bit easier to always be looking at the next technology. Retro for the most part meant finding deadstock product. Now you have new performance shoes being sold next to the models of yesteryear and the retro stuff tends to steals the limelight, especially because so many of the collaborations or special editions are focused on retro models.
Amen. What does your girlfriend think of your beard?
She hates it, she absolutely hates it. She wakes me every morning and tells me I'm the ugliest human being in earth. She wants to know what I’ve done with her boyfriend.
Oh, that’s a bit harsh.
Yeah. That’s okay though, it’s usually only here for 90 days, so January 1st it’ll be gone, I’ll be back to normal.
Alright, I look forward to seeing your chin then. (Laughter)
