New Balance Centenary Pack 577

After a pretty hectic year of sneakers, the shoe that came to mind when asked about what shoe I would highlight was the 577 from the NB Centenary Pack, made by the proud people of Flimby. The shoe brings back memories of how it all started, some 10 plus years ago when there were no ‘Special Editions’ available here in Denmark and sneakers were made just for sports.

I was a part of the first store to get a Nike Acount that was not a sporting goods store, having persuaded the good folks at Nike that it would work out fine. It was like Christmas Eve every time I went to see new collections, going through the entire range to find ‘The Shoe’ as well as seeing new classics being born.

This is the same feeling I got when I saw the 577 in this pack, classic materials and color combo to match. A brave move from NB doing a pack with such a quiet look. Big Ups to Audrey for choosing the 577. Let's hope it will stay in the collection from now on, I can't wait to get me a new pair in another fresh colour.
