I’ve always been a tit for the Artist series and colabs, there’s something unique that appeals to me, Supreme Blazers, Clot Air Max, and if this includes up to now, the Ben Drury Air Max - Premium Leather and 3m is all a growing boy needs! And as for a certain Mark Ong’s signature SB Dunk, I should have my winner there, thank you and goodnight!

But no, my shoe of last year is a real surprise and one I never expected, the Air Max 360. When I first saw it I didn’t really take much notice. Then I put a pair on and was totally gobsmacked. I remember as a kid buying Air Max and saying to my friends these are the bounciest yet! I am an avid runner and the first test drive proved these were something special. Nine months on, about the time I would be way overdue for a new pair, I can't let them go! They have moulded to my feet perfectly.

I was painting one at the Nike Festival of Air and the more I studied the shoe, the more I saw the little nod to Sergio Lozano's Masterpiece, the Air Max 95, with the rib echo from the lace eyelets and the 3m touches. The styling is downplayed and completely contrasts the 360 Airbag which just screams for attention.

I really look forward to watching how the 360 develops as for me it's a classic now.
