2010 - BEST OF THE BEST SNEAKERS

Martina: I had to choose a few. Nike Vandal High U, a retro-profile amped up with plum and gold. I just love rich colors - it’s part of me. So easy to wear and looks good with everything. Love them. Another favourite of the year has been the off-white Nike Dunk Hi Skinny Supreme Maharam – I just loved them in all their simplicity. And when I need to wear something a bit more snazzy, I’ll put on my adidas Jeremy Scott ObyO 3-Tongue. While they’re quite striking in design, they’re also so comfy on my feet - an absolute pleasure to rock.

Sumi: I chose the adidas Forum, because they are super comfortable and the colours are discreet and in perfect harmony. I’ve got the same sneakers from last year in different colours: red and white. Forums are my favourites because of their boyish looks - simple with loads of attitude.

Katariina: I saw these killers in the Sneaker Freaker newsletter and thought: I WANT THEM! When I went to bElles, Sumi and Martina were already looking for them. What excellent taste we have! Well, they only come in male sizes so for once I was happy to be big footed. The colours are just perfect! Why don’t they make them for girls?
