Nike Air Icarus OG (1992)
I have been into Nike running shoes from an early age. My uncle bought a pair of Nike Air Icarus in 1992, because he was an enthusiastic runner. I instantly fell in love with them but unfortunately at the time, I was too young to afford a pair myself. But the shoes always stayed in the back of my mind. After a few years, I started to check eBay and all over the Internet to see if I could find a pair in my size, but I was never lucky. One day, a customer came to our store TITOLO and I noticed that he was wearing some heat. So we started to talk about sneaker culture and I found out that he had a lot of vintage runners at home. He invited me to a BBQ some time later. While we were eating, he mentioned that he might have a pair in my size that could interest me (he didn't know that the Icarus was my holy grail) and then he pulled out a Deadstock Pair of Nike Air Icarus. Needless to say, I was going nuts and wanted to buy them right on spot. He sold them to me for a friendly price, so after 18 years of waiting, the search was finally over!
