2010 - BEST OF THE BEST SNEAKERS
I didn't really buy as many kicks this year as I have done in the past, but when I thought about my best of the best, it was an easy pick... ‘The Classic' from New Zealand Brand YOURS. YOURS is a somewhat unknown brand in the sneaker community but they have a very classic sneaker feel to them that has been re-vamped for 2010. They use lush pigskin leather combined with rubber... a combination that I didn't think could work, but simply does. Being such a small brand, the designers are reachable and are looking for feedback as well as ways to improve their product. And what better way to achieve this than speaking to the people who wear them! But most importantly, the shoes look DOPE on the foot and are made to be worn!
