This year I had to go with three top picks. Considering that I have over 400 pairs of shoes, most of the time I don't rock the same shoe over and over for weeks. But when I picked up these three shoes I was rocking ‘em so much and all for different reasons. So let's get into it. My number three pick is the Nike SB Akuma-inspired PRod IV. I know a lot of people don't like ‘em, but that all navy upper with the black sole is a very clean look. The thing that really sets off the shoe is the red laces and the red hit on the back. Plus Street Fighter has been my joint since I was three years old so it brings back a lot of fun times!
Number two is the Converse X Bodega Poorman's Weapon. I love hightop shoes! This shoe was built so well and they look amazing on the feet. ‘Nuff said!
Since I'm a huge SB fan I had to go with a Dunk high for my top pick. My favourite colours on shoes are purple and green and I love it when Nike SB tries something new. This shoe had a stash pocket in it, which was something Nike had yet to do on the Dunk. Lastly the quality of the shoes does matter and this shoe had all three things... the Nike SB Dunk High 420 Skunks. I've been rocking the heck out of them and to be real they look better beat than clean!
Some more notable shoes to me were the Jordan VI and Spiz'ikes in almost every colourway. I can't forget all the dope Air Max 1s that have been dropping all year. But even with all these great releases, I'll be rocking my three top picks for many years to come!
