2010 - BEST OF THE BEST SNEAKERS
On the one hand there were many hot and hard to get ones, but some general releases which caught my eyes as well. First to mention was the release of the Sneaker Freaker ALVIN PURPLE. The whole teasing, the story itself and the shoe was really well chosen, besides I am a really big fan of the ASICS Gel Lyte III. There was another big hit with the ASICS Gel Lyte III x Slamjam. Nice colours, nice package and most of all, great people behind the idea. For many reasons also PUMA was top notch in 2010. The colabs with SIZE? were all cool as hell, from the materials to the models to the marketing. SIZE? also celebrated their 10th year anniversary very well with the Nike Blazers and a very interesting book.
The AM1 Crepe was shown on the internet, but seemed to be nowhere! They were sold out within minutes... So please Nike, bring back the AM1 Crepe in many different colours. So all in all, I really loved the year 2010 and I am even more excited to work on the German edition of Sneaker Freaker!
