NIKE ALL COURT
I was very close to choosing the 2010 M1300JPs for nostalgic reasons, but the one silhouette that touched me the most this past year is Nike’s classic All Court model. Not only did this subtle shoe make its debut in the same year as Miles Davis’ Pangaea, Monty Python and the Holy Grail (no pun intended), as well as myself (1975), the timeless construction, simple lines, level of comfort, ease to match and available materials/colours made the low version the most worn model in my closet for 2010. All white soles are always a win, and so are solid coloured uppers. The toecap makes them stand out just right, while still being easy on the eye.
I’m always horrible at choosing when there is a slew of good colourways and nice texture makeups available, so whenever new styles are released, I just go and get each and every one of them! I very much look forward to what Nike will do with this model in 2011… I suggest sport red, mock crocodile leather, perforated Swoosh and white sole. Thank you in advance!
