2010 - BEST OF THE BEST SNEAKERS
I’m in the middle of my fifth DJ tour downunder and I only packed three pairs of kicks (shock horror!) and you know how hard that is for a sneaker head! So my best of the best is one of those three.
These juicy nuggets jumped off the shelf at me while living in NewYork this summer and I was sold! I picked them up from a ghetto sneaker spot DEEP in the Bronx—the Fordham Rd area to be precise. 6.0 Womens Dunk Highs, a super comfortable shoe with mad flava! It may be too colourful for a lot of peeps but I think it’s healthy for one to have fun with one’s footwear from time to time! And I like mixing up the laces too. Little kids always love these when they see them (my niece has already called dibs when her feet are big enough) so maybe they express the big kid in me?
Wearing them in London can be a bit treacherous though, because as you know, suede and rain ain’t the best of friends. If I was back home in London I may have picked the white hightop Jordan 45 Flights with the Rainbow soles as my faves, but either way these are still fresh to def to me!
