2008 - BEST OF THE BEST SNEAKERS
Even though I really enjoyed making my custom sneakers with DC this year, my favourite was a super-limited one done by a friend.
Joe Hahn and I were in Singapore on tour and we went into this store on Haji Lane. We started talking to the guys in the store, and SBTG’s name came up. The guys we were talking to said, ‘Mark? Do you want to meet him?’ The SBTG office happened to be practically next door. We’ve kept in touch with Mark since then, and he hit me up with these beauties. One of eight pairs and completely hand painted. Even though I’m not really wearing AF1’s that much right now, I love these.
