2008 - BEST OF THE BEST SNEAKERS

Being that we opened in late July, we don't have a wide range to choose from when it comes to what has circulated through the shop to date. However, we were fortunate enough to get full size runs in the DJ Clark Kent 112 pack. Our favorite (hands down) was the Air Max 1.

It features the same color neon that was introduced back in the day on the Air Max '95. Nike calls this color neon yellow, but it's more of a green. Either way, the colour itself is classic on its own. Speaking of classic, the Air Max 1 is the first shoe ever to debut the visible air window. Running shoes aside, the AM1 is one of the illest shoe silhouettes ever created by god (or shall I say Tinker Hatfield). This particular release offers so many commanding features. Example, elephant print wrapped around the entire mudguard. Nike rarely blesses us with this print on any Air Max, so it's pretty much guaranteed to make noise whenever it happens. Neon yellow and elephant print arranged ever so lovely onto the legendary AM1 holds so much significance. It represents a trio of historic Nike icons joined together. An alliance of sorts that demands attention.  Props to DJ Clark Kent for his respectable contribution to our fashion world.
