What a year it’s been! Not only are my lucky numbers 20 and 07, making 2007 MY year, I was fortunate enough to have one of my grails retroed in all its rainbow glory with the Reebok Reverse Jam. This shoe evokes so many memories of my favourite era, the nineties, from the party jam sounds of Kid n’ Play to the hyper-colour goodness of every piece of clothing I owned back then, to dreaming of a time when my life could be every episode of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Peep the speckled pink goodness in the mid-sole and the apple green upper, mixed in with the fattest of fat tongues, emblazed with the symbol of cool, the Reverse Jam logo.

It’s no coincidence that for two years straight I have chosen a Reebok shoe made famous by a movie. 2008 looks set to be the year of the ‘Bok, and I for one will be all over them like white on rice.
