2007 - BEST OF THE BEST SNEAKERS

Sometimes I have to applaud Nike’s insane use of color – safety orange, vomit green and bubble gum pink – who approved this? They’re the offspring of an Air Max 360 and AM 95 that were genetically fused by a carbon-fiber explosion in a candy factory. These Easter-egg colored mash-ups screamed at me from the shelf and I couldn’t stop thinking about them ‘till I had them in my possession. I have a bit of a disorder that only allows me to see bright colors. Even with that condition, these Nikes burn my retinas.
What happened in the design meeting when Nike decided to make this shoe? It’s absolutely nuts!
