A tribute to a great set of laces

While on a trip a few years ago in melburn, i was visiting the hip hop shop below richmond train station, this shop was pretty dope scored some kool cd's, sick graf markers, stick up kidz tee's and of course fatboy's fat laces in three different colours purple,red and white, let me start by saying these laces were 10X better than the laces from deuce both in color and quality, there alot thicker than the deuce's and can be stretched to look super fat.








the purple lace was the first i bought, reason being at the time me and a friend were in desperate search for the air classic bw in the black/persian violet, and i bought the lace and then went and bought the air max ltd laser from lord of sports on chapel, put them together and wham never looked back.

A while after i asked highs and lows in perth about the lace in hope they could obtain them, sadly i heard they had ceased production and wish i had bought a few more =(. it's just not the same with the deuce fat laces.
