random nike spotting - air max jacket

blog 23rd Jul 2008, 8:10 pm

just a random photo that fell in front of me as i surfed.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/new ... ocial-behaviour.html

A householder who took photographs of hooded teenagers as evidence of their anti-social behaviour says he was told he was breaking the law after they called the police.

David Green, 64, and his neighbours had been plagued by the youths from a nearby comprehensive school for months, and was advised by their headmaster to identify them so action could be taken.

One of Mr Green's pictures shows two hooded teenagers, one making an obscene gesture towards the camera.

But when Mr Green left his £1million London flat to take photographs of the gang, who were aged around 17, he said one threatened to kill him while another called the police on his mobile.

And he claimed that a Police Community Support Officer sent to the scene promptly issued a warning that taking pictures of youths without permission was illegal, and could lead to a charge of assault.

Nike Zoom Tre SB - Loon

collection 26th Dec 2007, 8:00 pm

general release as far as i know. picked up cheap from the warehouse. pretty comfy but i prefer the ecues.

External HDD - Eleprint Edition

custom 26th Dec 2007, 9:23 am

not sure if this counts as a custom exactly ;-)

i've been working on an eleprint tile for a while now. most of my friends are probably sick of hearing about it. here's one of the proof of concept experiments that worked pretty well imho. it's a 400Gig drive in a vantec case. i wasn't able to do the stand as i ran out of sticker :(

you can view some other photos of the drive by clicking here.

the next step is to get proper vinyl stickers made up but they're not cheap (anyone got a hookup?) so it might be a while before that happens.

I'd like to embed some kind of watermark into the print as well so that once i release it I can track where it's been used. I'll be dumping it to the public domain so its free for everyone to use, but just cos i'm curious, i'd like to know where it's used.

Nike ACG Air Phypo

collection 29th Sep 2007, 10:46 pm

these are a really odd pair of samples. today there's 4 hits in google. when i picked them up, there was only 1 hit in google - some japanese page that i couldnt read. they're not the most comfy boots ever. i think i picked them up cheap and it was winter and i wanted some acg to keep my feet dry.

Nike Air Max 96

collection 29th Sep 2007, 9:24 pm

i last wore these a year or two ago but they're pretty close to crumbling i think. most people don't seem to like these as much as the 95s or 97s but they 're still air max's and were really comfy when they were new..

Nike Zoom Air Ecue SB

collection 25th Sep 2007, 9:21 pm

another sample. the heels took a little bit to break in but after that oh so comfy. the full length zoom air sole is deluxe. totally recommend the zoom inner. its like standing on a waterbed all day. just awesome.

i have another pair of ecues that i haven't been able to break in though. there's subtle differences between these samples and that pair (general release) and i dont know if its the materials or what but i've given up trying to wear the other pair because of the heel problems.

Nike Air Cringe

collection 24th Sep 2007, 8:01 pm

another pair of brown shoes that i thought i'd wear but didnt. unfortunatley the one time i did wear them i got caught in a typical melbourne downpour and the suede?leather? whatever - its not been the same since. the main reason for buying these was that these shoes share their sole with the Flight 89s (and the J4s for those being picky). the bubbles been closed over but otherwise its the same. pretty silly reason to buy a pair of shoes but hey who needs sensible reasons? :)
