Nike continues to revisit their most iconic basketball shoes of the past 20 years with a look back at one of the most unique designs to have ever hit the hardcourt, the Nike Air Foamposite One. Inspired by a molded sunglass case made from EVA foam, the design was ahead of it's time and pushed the boundaries of traditional manufacturing techniques in the late 90's. The one-piece outer shell, frosty ice-cold sole and seamless build made it the perfect shoe for point guard Penny Hardaway. Check out the shoe below along with rare development sketches, and see more at Nike Inc.
