SNEAKER FRIENDS 2010 RECAP!

Atlanta recently played host to the awesome Sneaker Friends 2010! Held at The Compound, the fifth installment brought together premium neck-breaking collectors with street fashion aficionados, solidifying sneaker culture as a 'friendly, down to earth' collective. With heads travelling in from all over the globe, Sneaker Freaker was humbled and honoured to be part of this incredible event.

With the ATF crew (Clark Kent, Mayor, All The Way Dave and Premium Pete) strong arming the day, jaws consistently hit the floor whenever a pair of custom kicks landed in sight. Blog celebs such as Matt Halfhill from Nice Kicks, Chris Lee from CtotheJL as well as Franalations, The Shoe Game, Inside The Sneaker Box, SuperKix, HeatSeekersKrew, AtlantaGotSole, Sneaker Bistro, PaperATL and beyond were also on hand to cover the proceedings.

Rounding out the line-up, Rick Ross, GLC and a collection of local ATL based emcees gave those in the house their money's worth, causing cats to break out their handicams and SLRs, Sneaker Freaker included! The biggest shoutout however belongs to Atlanta’s Greg Street. Tying the event together with seamless ease, Street kept everyone entertained with giveaways (given to those rocking the nastiest sneakers), dope beats, Fat Burger treats and fountains of alcohol.

In short, Sneaker Friends 2010 will go down as one of the highlights of the year!
