With a build-up that was longer and dustier than the Nullabor itself, we finally found an appropriate moment to release our PUMA Bunyips into the wild. What a night! Racking up one of the most epic bar tabs seen in recent years, PUMA came to party hard, hand-picking Melbourne’s biggest Formstripe freakers for this invite-only bash. Melbourne’s exotic Carlton Club was swarming with Bunyip hunters hot on the trail of this mythical crepe-soled creature and we even managed to capture a live one for some party Polaroids. Hans DC dominated the decks and our friends at Acclaim came to play with Carbon headliners such as 13th Witness and Ricky Powell in the house. Big thanks to the crew from Hypebeast, Freshness, Streething, Sneeze, New Order, Mass Appeal and Project 4000 for flying in for the scoop on one of Puma’s biggest releases for 2012. Thanks also to Adrian, Teresa and Sophie at PUMA for all their help over the past week... on top of the swap meet, it’s been one helluva sneaker freaking week!
