SHOCK THE WORLD AUCKLAND RECAP

G-Shock's huge Shock The World Tour made one of its final stops for the year when it invaded New Zealand's largest metropolis recently. Auckland trembled as the lucky invitees rocked it from dusk 'til dawn. Needless to say, the joint was dripping in G-Shock candy, including a very special colab model with the crew at Auckland's Qubic store. There was no shortage of opportunities to get your wrist pimped, none more fun than the arcade-style skill-tester stuffed with G-Shock goodness. But it was the guest of honour who really stole the show... the G-Wizard himself, Casio engineer and G-Shock founding father Mr. Kikuo Ibe (who stopped by for this lighthearted interview.) Things turned into an all-out frenzy when stage-rockers Computers Want Me Dead, David Dallas and the mighty JUST BLAAAZE tore the roof down. Running through a blistering set of what seemed like his entire discography, the super-producer even got on the mic to send the already-hyped crowd completely buckwild! The 2010 Shock the World tour is going out with a bang in Tokyo and Berlin, so stay tuned for more. But enough yapping... get stuck into the photos of all the Auckland action courtesy of the stupidly skilled Sean Aickin!
