AUCKLAND YEEZY LAUNCH

Thanks to Frank and Ivy at the Qubic store, the SNKR FRKR team trans-Tasman travelled to witness the madness first hand as they finally launched the Yeezy in the land of the long white cloud! With three launch parties in as many weeks, we were damn close to being yeezy'ed out - but one more basho couldn't possibly hurt could it? Lucky for us we saved the best til last as Auckland went bananas for the fishsticks! It was practically a rewind to 2004 as kids were camped outside the Boardwalk store for a full 30 hours before showtime! Bro-town was freezing so that was quite an effort – and in a lovely case of serendipity, it was the #1 ticket holder in the queue who took home the last possible pair through the lottery system. With music from Sirvere and Auckland's finest PNC on the mic, the room was rockin’ hard. Frank kept the crowd lively while the shoes were raffled off and finally after many a Red Bull and Becks, the party was done diddy! Thanks again to Frank and Ivy for putting on such a ripper event and  to all the Auckland cats, we’ll see you next time when the weather’s warmer! Gangster!
