Last weekend Samurai Blue Park held the first adiCup Tokyo, with over a thousand soccerheads watching the action! Along with the high (allegedly) standard of football there were Bento boxes and doughnuts washed down with bottles of cold Kirin... The final on Sunday saw CA Real Tokyo taking on FC Hummer for the title of Tokyo adiCup champions and the chance to compete in the final in Herzogenaurach (adidas HQ) for the big prize of a trip to the World Cup final in South Africa. An action-packed game saw FC Real Tokyo (members from FC Real Bristol and Sophnet) prevail over the boys from FC Hummer in a comprehensive 2-0 victory.With adidas ObyO legend Kazuki Kuraishi on hand to present the awards, each team ended their celebrations with a good old team photo shoot.
