Color: Yellow, with blue highlight. 3M low light reflect material.
Some of my personal thoughts on the Christmas KD III are that they are very light, however they are not the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. But on the other hand they are not the most uncomfortable. On a scale of 1-10 ill give them a 6/7 for comfort. However, the color of these shoes is right up my alley. Yellow, one of the colors I like to where the most, and these shoes look great with a pair of jeans or black training pants.
Some of the details about the shoe:
Color: Vibrant Yellow and Photo Blue with hints of Orange.
Kevin Durants third shoe features a full grain leather upper for durability infused with 3M high visibility in low light settings. The shoe also features flywire for lightweight support and comfort. In my personal opinion, as light as flywire is, i need something squishy like more foam between my foot and and the flywire. This shoe also sports air technology, given by its name, ZOOM. The zoom air technology is hidden on the inside of the sole in order to offer a low profile with maximum cushioning and the ultimate in lightweight performance. Zoom technology isn't just an airbag inside, it is an airbag that shifts the air.
The flywire technology, which is woven nylon fibers is seen on the upper of the shoe and it is infused to the laces. the shoe also offers an inside strap for arch support and more of connection and hold to the base of the shoe.
One thing you will notice in this shoe is the four locations of Kevin Durant. The heel features a 4 button controller like symbol with KD 35 representing Kevin Durants love for gaming. KD logo is then placed on the tongue with a hole to slide your finger into in order to help get the shoe on, and on the bottom of the shoe next to another location that says the Zoom technology. Under the arch strap the shoes also note that they were designed and engineered to the exact specifications of Kevin Durant.
In order to better understand the outsole, one must know that before he became an NBA All-Star, KD played ball in the Barry Farms Goodman League in Washington D.C. his hometown. On the bottom of the outsole there is a pattern that says "BF62" which is a pattern that pays tribute to the 62 points he scored in a game in Barry Farms. On top of that there are five lightning bolts in a semicircular patter at the forefoot that represent his team the oklahoma city thunder, each one representing a player on the court. Finally there are piano keys by the heel and midfoot to show his passion for music.
This shoe also comes with a herringbone pattern outsole for multi directional traction and flex grooves for enhanced flexibility and smooth stride, which is featured in numerous Nike training shoe styles.
At a retail price of only $88 this is a must have shoe for the basketball enthusiast.

Thursday, I went out with a buddy to Woodbury Commons. Had to run some errands, do some exchanges, pick up a gift for my girlfriend, and check out the kicks at Nike Factory. Shout out to Nike Woodbury, you guys do a great job, and been having some of the best footwear out of any Nik Factory Ive seen in a while. Employees and Management are some of the best people I've met, keep up the good work you guys!
I was wandering around, and they had some good grabs. They had the Jordan 6 Oreos and the Griffeys in Black/Black/Infrared. Copped em both. They both been on my list for a while, and I've been looking for em but didn't want to pay high prices, and just my chance they had em at Factory Location. As me and my buddy are driving home, I was like, you know what, I havent photographed my collection yet and decided thats what I was going to do when I got back. But first, had to go to Marshalls and some other local cheap joints to see what plain junky shoes they were selling for me to get at a low price and paint em up. Nothing. Came up with Zilch, the marshalls shoe game is down. pick it up ppl pick it up!
Got back, layed out all the shoes I had at home, which is only half, the other half is at school, and it took up 3/4 of my floor, mostly cause I squished all the shoes without boxes into a corner next to everything but heres what it looks like with a junky picture from my camera phone.
Keep in mind this is only half, but its the quality over the quantity. One thing youll notice is i go for colorfull funky stuff. im not a big fan of all black or all white, but if the shoes have meaning then im more likely to get a pair of all black or all white. Some things ill make an exception for color, is anything foamposite, and it doesnt matter to me what the color is, if its faomposite, then im gettin it. done. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks ill whip out the other half of the collection at school and snap some pics for u readers and give you guys an extensive list. but of the list at home i got all my customs sitting in the back under the hockey skates in the back left. would have pulled em out but still a work in progress.
if your looking for a good blog to read hit up I like a lot at

one of my favorite to read and keep up with.
till next time. . .

Got my Foamposites and loving them. Cough Drop colors are the black foam with a translucent red bottom.
Checking them out, they got the carbon fiber in the sole and it comes out on the outside of the shoe for support and added look. Rubber bottom of the shoe has black and red and the penny logo under the heel. The Foam on the upper is comprised of three pieces and is connected to nubuck and mesh. The Foam covers an inner booty that form fits th foot and had red accents to match the red bottom. The shoe also has loops on the front and the back in order to help slide your foot in.
The Foams tend to be a half size small on me so I always go for a half size bigger, and thanks to the foam no need to worry about creasing. The laces are black oval laces but I think it would have been nice to have red oval laces so im going to cop a pair this week and see how they look.
Nike subtly puts a red swoosh by the forefoot that even though its small it stands out against the black of the rest of the shoe and when you see these you know, even though it doesn' have the large swoosh, this foam, aint no body elses but the swoosh.
Warning to buyers, do not keep in extreme heat or near a heater or in direct sunlight. The carbon will heat up and the glue with loosen and you do not want that. Store it in its original box for safekeeping when not being worn.
Overall a great feeling shoe which can be used for sportswear or for basketball.
Great colors, and thank you nike for the re-release.
Good Looks.

Air Max Posite Bakin! ACG Boot.
100% a good buy.
Went out today to try and exchange em, didn't have the 10 like I needed at Footaction, but shoutout to those guys. They helped me out and ordered a size 10 to my house. I got this at the Footaction in the Simon Galleria Mall in White Plains NY, Thanks guys.
In other news.
I got me a pair of Cranberry 1/2 Cents and DAYME!!!
Hot color, contrasting Black swoosh, superbly comfortable inner booty.
Not as heavy as I expected, huge plus, and really really comfy.
In comparision to the eggplant ones that were released before it, I gotta say these are much hotter, and look better with a pair of jeans.
little details on the 1/2 cent make it what it is. Some of them include the Penny hologram on the outsole with a smiling Penny character, and then the penny logo on the back heel with a cartoon penny on the foot insert. in addition its got the 1/2 cent logo on the shoe too.
In my mind definitely a great buy.
Im sitting here asking NIKE to come up with a volt or electric green 1/2 cent like the Foamposite promised for 2011 in order to satisfy my sneaker addiction.
Lemme here your thoughts.
Didnt do much today besides contemplate getting a different size of my Bakin Posits and then going to work. Woke up at like 1 and had to be at work at 330 so i didn't end up exchanging. My thoughts on the boot, in all honesty, super comfy, great look, and definitely hotter than the Foamposite Boot.
The Red Bakin, is the one I got, and the air bubble, and the flame illustration on the bottom of the shoe are hot. Definitely much cooler in my mind than the foamposite boot. The boot runs a little small thoughand I got my size, a size 9 in nikes that arent runners, and it is comfy for the first 30 minutes, but after wearing them for 4 hours waiting in line for my Kobe, Lebron, and KD christmas my toes were scrunched together and in a little bit of pain. im gonna bring it to footaction tomorrow hopefully and get a 9.5 or 10 depending on what they offer me since i lost the receipt.
In other news, I started painting an old pair of flights I have. Originally i had them in white/black/volt and then they ripped, and at the time i had my moms doing my errands cause i was in high school, and finishline only had black/black/silver left so she got that in my size. one of the most comfortable nikes i own but these ripped too, i think its my foot. Im a wide 8.5 so i just wear the 9 so i dont need to squeeze and be completely uncomfortable. But i took off some of the black and painted them aqua and gonna hit em up with pink highlights, like the lebron South Beachs. Thats a pair of shoes i tried getting my mits on but i waited in line for about an hour for these in boston and got to be number 13 on a list of 15 at store that was said to get 21 pairs in. shockingly they got only 6 pairs and were not getting in anymore. i saved up 350 to cop a pair from flight club, but after dropping too much on December releases, i decided it wasnt meant to be and they ran out of my size anyway. For these ill post some pics later.
other than painting and work, i cleaned my room, changed my sheets, put some laundry away, got a suit fitted, and got to talk with my lady friend who just returned from vaca.
but heres a list of what im working on now.
1. Mondrian Celtic Customs.
2. South Beach Flights
3. Gold Dulce and Gabanna
4. Floral pink/volt Big Nike High Womens
5. AF1 High, black with purple to blue fade shoosh and silver highlight
6. Converse Chuck All Stars (no idea what to do yet, hit me up with ideas and if your a size 9 lemme know, maybe ill name em after you or give em to you, since Convers chucks are not my style)

Sup readers!
Got back from work a little while ago and had dinner. Work was uneventful except for the 45 minute convo i had with one of my co-workers on the Kobe, KD, and Lebron Christmas colorways. In my opinion, since i like my shoes louder than a screaming baby, they were all hot. We then talked about in our own opinions why the Lebrons are still around and why the KDs will be around even longer, and what our thoughts were on comfortability. Lebron Won. Mazel Tov big guy.
After that, got home, rest of the fam was at a movie and proceeded to watch some movie that sucked and then G.I. JOE the new one which is kick ass action and animation, good stuff, top shelf.
Back to the topic at hand, the Mondrian Celtic Customs. I got right into it around 11 and stopped about 20 minutes ago in order to let them dry a little. But their coming along, front and mids of the shoe are all done except for the yellow highlight on one, and ill do that before i knock out for the night. Iv gotta outline the backs to match, which ill do too and hopefully they will be done tomorrow, and then ill hit up the box with a matching illustration.
Gonna get back in it, and finish up those two points.
In addition to the "Treats Sweet Feet" candy that I paint, those lovely customs, that I have only posted one image of, I also do graphics, just starting out but im getting better. Im joined up with that website I was talking to you about where they give 10% to charity.
here it is!
http://www.cafepress.com/Dript
Keep your eyes open constantly for more designs, as they will come out at least one a week and as organizations continue to work with us. Keep your eyes open for a new DJ SK logo, a Sigma Alpha Mu logo, a Zeta Beta Tau logo, and t shirts to help with Relay for Life in support of finding a cure for breast cancer.
DRIPT, its a movement, its a lifestyle, its a fashion, its you, its me, its everyone around us. All the images are influence by daily life, and the charity images are collaborated with University Clubs, and 10% of every item sold goes right back to the club and the charity, and generates no profit for the site, it is strictly to generate awareness and a flow for these organizations. The ones that are not attached to organizations are there to just be cool and generate profit to keep the website up.
All the customs that I do now go under the DRIPT name. each pair of shoes will come with an individualized business card, DRIPT logo on the inside of the box and under the insert in the shoe. My signature will be hidden somewhere else. But each pair of shoes can come with a customized matching box, laces, and shoe decreasers.
Stuff that automatically comes with it is custom letter of design, the business card, and a personalized letter describing the process and the heart that went into the shoe. Its no longer about just painting for money, its about painting and designing for the sake of color, for art, and in this case...kicks.
Thats what DRIPT is all about.
Let me describe it to you some more. When you take a can of spraypaint and spray a dot on a brick wall, canvas or anything else and you spray too much, the paint drips, and gravity continues to pull it down. DRIPT is about the movement of color, how it makes you feel, what it inspires you to do and what it inspires you to feel. DRIPT is a concetp that is constantly asking, what moves you?! To be a DRIPT vollower is to be an individual, to be unique. No one person is the same and no one persons art is the same. we take inspiration from the things around us and translate it to what we see it as or how it makes us feel and that is art. THAT IS DRIPT. Some inappropriate and dirty minded people ask me, isnt DRIPT how you make women feel around you? and i say to them no! that aint right, DRIPT is how they feel in general, if they feel DRIPT, I feel DRIPT. its an emotion, its a way of life its a point of view. DRIPT is everything, and it is nothing. DRIPT is a verb, a noun, an adjective. you see some dope are on the street, how did the artists do it? they DRIPT, what is that? is it kool? is it awesome? nah nah nah, that art...that art is DRIPT!
Life is DRIPT, dont ever let it stop moving.
I woke up this morning at like 1 so really this afternoon, got on to my computer, went straight to nicekicks.com and snkrfrkr.com and checked out the new articles and releases and such. I read up, got my newsflash and the got outta bed and headed to Menswarehouse and got myself some suits, buy one get one free deal. got some good stuff, headed into new balance retailer, why? just because of course. Nothin good.
I inquired to the guy workin there about some new releases coming out and he just gave me some dumb look. I love new balance, I love all kicks and this not to bash the company its just a generality, but i think that if you are going to be working for a company, even though you are not selling a certain product, you should be knowledgeable of other products that the company offers, especially if your a sneaker company, ur employees should be knowledgeable of the sneakers you release and the sneaker community. just a thought.
I started continuing on the celtics customs again and i have been getting kind of frustrated with some of the paints. some angelus paints are super thin and you need to do many coats, and this irks me only when it is a dark color like dark green. it doesn't just go on dark green, it goes on kind of clear but obviously the more and more layers you put the better it looks and the fewer the brush strokes. if anyone has any comment on this hit me up and comment on the blog. i was able to hit up the toe box with forest green and do a top layer of green and highlight the toe box and eyestays with yellow and mark off the back of the shoe wich is a tribute to Mondrian. im gonna work on it for another hour or so in order to give these babies the time they need before i hit the sack since i got work tomorrow, but made up the business card to match the kicks for the customer, and got an approval to customize the box to match the kicks for some extra cash. Thanks guys!
Also created some new designs for my website and clothing manufacturer, gonna put up links and more info later. this site is super sweet designs and supports charity with 10% of sales, which is fantastic, if only we were all so generous!
kicks id say are midway through, feel free to hit me up for more images. but here is an image so far, kinda junky since it was taken with my phone but its the only camera i got at home. let me know some thoughts.

About a week ago, I got a customs order from an acquaintance who was looking for personalized kicks for her sister. She heard from a friend that im a sneaker guy and she messaged me on the fbook. i told her depending on her deadline, i gave a shoutout to nikeID, or she can do custom hand painted depending on the due date and specifications. I offered to do the job for her and asked what she was looking for. She said she just wanted a size 7 girls shoe for her sisters birthday on Jan 13th with "like celtic greens" and her sisters name and number. I said no problem and an image popped into my head. Being an art student there many types of artists i wish to pay tribute to because i like their work a lot. one of these artists is Mondrian. I have been itchiing to do a piece giving some honor and I got this nice little pair of all white AF1's with a lime bottom. Im painting them dark green on the toe and laces and eyestay and then using a Mondrian inspired image on the back of the shoe. Then throughout the entire shoe, im going to use yellow and silver highlights to bring it out a little. Iv got one shoe 1/2 way done and once i finish it up I will post the images.
