Treasure(d)- Air Max 93

My ALL time favourite Air Max is the 93 aka Air Max 280. First Air Max to have a coloured air bubble.

Trashed the OG cw as kid and started buying them again when they were retro-ed...Collecting and wearing different colourways since.


These are dead stock, love the cw. The orange is intense.


Womens cw, my 'Grape' AM93's. Props to Gusto for the hookup. He appreciates his 93's aswell. Such an underrated Air Max in
general.


Once again a JP hookup. These were a holy grail AM93 for me from the star. The sock liner is greyish, I always imagined it to be black. Unless there are 2 versions floating around? Or maybe the photos I've seen is this one? but camera didn't capture the colour.


Escape 93's. Forgot the story on these...if there even is one? Asia exclusive? Not sure, cant remember.
I consider these and the Mowabb luxury versions of all my 93's (prior to the tier0 powerwall AM93's)


I had to have these, searched high and low. Europe only release. Love the cw and matierals. I should of doubled up when I found em, but 40-50 quid is lots when you living on tesco's or even worse iceland groceries. Slept & snoozed on a 2nd pair, ah well.
Ideally keep all the leather but give me an orange mesh toe box, that be well fresh!


Felt like I needed a pair of black 93's. The red is crap, the leather toe box is crap. Mesh all the way for 93's. Cheap pickup, I think from the States.


Love these 93's. So many of them were at Nike Outlet BITD but sadly didn't double up on them. Still a dope cw.


Ha these were a FootLocker exclusive in Oz...well so much to that, they ended up at the Nike outlet at good prices. Mine still had the FL key chain. I (heart) AM93's :)


2003 retro US9 and US10, slept on the powerwall 2006 releases :(

The OG cw. This is what started it ALL and also the AJ V (thats another post, photos, story & comments)

But I loved these when I was a kid, I can't find any photo's to confirm it, but I do distinctly remember that my OG pair had an AirMax1 sole. Now that's something for nike to consider releasing! AM93 upper with an AM1 sole. Or just retro more quality mesh 93's.

Last was the powerwall ones and they didn't get a very big release. Searching for the orange and lime green pairs. The black and white pairs from powerwall pack were ok, but looked too much like the JD Sports 93's. I think JD sports were leather toe and not mesh, thats why I slept on them when they were sitting on the sale racks for ages...but the gum sole did make em look semi hot.

Still searching for the tier0 Air Max 93 US9. The green is a tad off colour to me but the snakeskin swoosh and premium matierals is on point. Why was partying and booze more important at the time when these 93's dropped at FP? 90quid is ALOT of partying money...good chance I'd have to pay 3 or 4 times that now and thats if I find them in my size in DS or NDS.

Well you see many AM93's on sale, you may say it the poor mans choice of Air Max. Say what you want...these sneaker hold an important memory and relevance in my life. They are just so damn comfy to every other Air Max I have worn...its must be the inner sock bootie thingie! Yep thats it!

Got AM93's womensUS10/10.5 or mensUS9/9.5? Not sure many others collect or appreciate 93's but if there are, holla!
