Cam’ron’s comeback officially has a release date. On Wednesday morning (October 24), he exclusively revealed to MTV News that his mixtape, Public Enemy #1, will be out November 7.
“Killa Season again, you little yentas,” Cam said in an e-mail to MTV News, referencing his 2006 album. “November 7th. Cam’ron is anonymous. Dipset!”
Cam has also just launched Killa Cam Space on MySpace to promote the mixtape. On the site, you’ll soon find exclusive music from Public Enemy #1, like the song “Glitter,” which he previewed for MTV News. It’s all about the flamboyant Harlemite flossin’.

his myspace has this ridiculously annoying video thats a follow up to the guy trying to get at cam in the second video i posted. the dude keeps finding cam and keeps getting the same results then dude is on the roof of a building and cam shoots him, alot of annoying shit happens from then too. the video then announces the free double cd that is the mixtape.

His new LP, The Solution, now has an official release date of December 11.

"The blame can't fall on me like that," RZA said about the dueling release dates. "Wu-Tang Clan is a bunch of brothers working on one common cause. ... We planned to put that record out in September, then October, and it kept getting pushed because it's just a lot of work, yo. ... I wasn't really conscious [Ghost] was dropping an album on December 4th, but yesterday we moved our [group] record from the 4th to the 11th. We gave that spot to Ghostface ... because of how he felt. ... I had to make that call. [SRC label head] Steve Rifkind also, he was getting bashed up by Ghost [in the Mixtape Monday interview]. So ... we moved.
"We didn't have him move, we moved," RZA continued. "I think that shows the kind of bigger men we could be. Ghost is my brother, [I] love him to death. But we're in this business, and it's hard to kind of discern what's right and what's wrong. ... But I will say that, when it comes to a Wu-Tang Clan album, I plan on making it a 60-, 90-day type of schedule. ... It turned out to be a 200-day schedule ... and I didn't want to wait until next year [to put out 8 Diagrams].
"But Ghostface, we moved it to the 11th. You got that 4th. Do your thing right then, double up [the] next week, make mad cream this year, family."
All is not well with the Clan. MTV’s Mixtape Monday has an interesting interview with Ghost where he claims that he had secured December 4 as the date for his new album, Big Dough Rehab, long before 8 Diagrams was scheduled for that day. He’s also tight about not being paid for recent appearances with the Clan and even claims that Loud principal Steve Rifkind made phone calls to try and get his solo project shelved.

Ghostface set to release book

"The new issue of GQ has a rare interview with Andre Young. He talks about a bunch of stuff like the N.W.A. days and the Curtis and Game beef, but of course this is what caught my attention. Maybe it’s common knowledge that Dre still burns trees, but these days I tend to think of him as an old fogie elder statesmen type of dude, so it kind of bugged me out to actually hear him say it.
So you actually smoked “the chronic,” that particular strain of weed?
Yeah.
You didn’t freak out the first time?
Nah. I liked it.
Did it become part of your creative
process?
Weed doesn’t make me more creative. I don’t smoke before I work. I like to smoke when I’m done and listen back to the music, under the influence. [laughs] Some people can go in and smoke from morning to evening and it doesn’t affect them. But it slows me down. I’ve definitely created stuff high before, but I prefer to do it the other way.
When was your peak of weed smoking?
Um—last night? [laughs] It’s still goin’. Nothing’s changed.
Also interesting is where he claims to have left Death Row with adequate compensation and then acts as if Suge never took one penny from him that he didn’t deserve. Which is funny seeing as Dre has a lawsuit pendingagainst what’s left of the company as we speak."

Lupe Says He’ll See Vibe in Court
upe says that Vibe took his comments completely out of context. He says those statements were made long before the Hip-Hop Honors incident even occurred. He says he sent them a C&D this morning and he plans to sue for defamation of character.

Rapper Prodigy pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a loaded gun Tuesday in a deal that will put him behind bars for the next 3-1/2 years.
