blog by JLOW 28th Oct 2006the best program on the television at the moment is no doubt, survivor: interacial. while there isnt actually any interacialness going on at the moment, it is a fun word to use, so i will use it.
it begun by dividing each tribe into each different race. you have the asians, the reggins, jennifer lopez's crew and the whiteboys. everyone was thinking of doing this, and mark burnett is a genius. everyone has obviously watched survivor before and everyone always roots for their own race. by everyone i mean everyone ethnic. yeah. i remember supporting this tanky asian guy who was a rocket scientist but he wasnt really smart so he got voted off early. oh well. now i can choose between four people to support!
the best thing about survivor is the promotion of negative stereotypes
not so much racial, but more gender specific.
